The Huawei Optix OSN 1800 integrates both OTN and WDM features and uniformly transmits various services at the metro network edge, such as broadband, leased line and mobile services.
The Optix OSN 1800 supports unified transmission of multiple services ranging from 100 Mbit/s to 10 Gbit/s, unified switching of OWN/PLT/SDH services and automatic commissioning at the optical layer. In this way, the OptiX OSN 1800 flattens networks, reduces network deployment and O&M costs, and provides optimal solutions for various metro scenarios.
Supports 40 x 100 Gbit/s DWDM capacity, fulfilling service evolution requirements in a long term.
Integrates packet, VC, and OTN switching and access into a centralized switch matrix, improving the bandwidth utilization. Integrates the MPLS-TP feature and seamless inter-networking with the OptiX OSN 9800 and 8800 to implement E2E MPLS-TP networking.

Based on the T-SDN, the OptiX OSN 1800 implements the unified scheduling of cross-layer or cross-domain network resources and intelligent network management, and supports various APPs and innovative services.
